As a gesture of friendship and goodwill, the Ambassador of India to Nepal, Sh. Naveen Srivastava, handed over 15 Tata Curvv EVs to Nepal’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba.
The vehicles were gifted by the Government of India to support logistics for the first edition of the ‘Sagarmatha Sambaad’, to be held in Kathmandu from 16–18 May 2025, under the theme 'Climate Change, Mountains and the Future of Humanity'. The handover was made at the request of the Government of Nepal and is aimed at strengthening logistical support for the event.
At the ceremony, Ambassador Srivastava said the EVs would ease the movement of guests and officials during the Sambaad. Receiving the vehicles, Minister Deuba thanked India for its continued support and recognized India as one of Nepal’s oldest and most important development partners.
