Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd., the exclusive distributor of Proton vehicle in Nepal, has announced the launch of an attractive financing scheme for its electric vehicle, the Proton eMas 7.
Designed to make electric mobility more accessible and affordable, this initiative offers instant financing approval within just 60 minutes and a remarkably low interest rate of 4.99%, along with hassle less financing a first in the Nepalese automotive industry.
In our market, the eMas 7 is available in two variants—Prime and Premium—priced at Rs 56.99 lakh and Rs 67.99 lakh, respectively. Globally, this model is known as the Geely Galaxy E5.
Both variants are equipped with a front-mounted electric motor that generates 160 kW of power and 320 Nm of torque. They also feature a 12-in-1 electric motor system, enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds.
The Prime variant comes with a 49.52 kWh LFP battery, delivering a range of 345 km (WLTP). It also includes 18-inch alloy wheels, a 15.4-inch 2.5K display, remote control functionality, and ADAS Level 2.
The Premium variant, on the other hand, is equipped with a 60.22 kWh LFP battery, providing an extended range of 410 km (WLTP). It features larger 19-inch alloy wheels, a 16-speaker Flyme Sound System, a windshield head-up display (HUD), and ventilated front seats for enhanced comfort.
One of the standout features of the eMas 7 is its Aegis Short Blade Battery, developed by Geely Automobile. This advanced lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery offers faster charging speeds, enhanced safety, and a longer lifespan compared to conventional blade batteries.
