CG Motors, in collaboration with China’s Geely Auto Group, has launched a new vehicle exchange campaign aimed at encouraging the adoption of electric mobility in Nepal. The initiative allows customers to trade in their existing vehicles and upgrade to the all-electric Riddara pickup with a minimum 20% down payment.
The Riddara is an electric pickup developed by Geely and brought to the Nepali market by CG Motors. It features a 73 kWh battery offering a claimed range of 424 km on a full charge.
Designed to handle Nepal’s diverse terrain, the vehicle comes equipped with seven drive modes — including Sand, Mud, Off-road, Wading, Economy, Comfort, and Sport — and a 540-degree surround view camera to assist with navigation and safety.
In addition to the exchange offer, the campaign includes several other benefits for buyers: a cash discount, top-up exchange bonus, free accessories, one-year comprehensive insurance, a complimentary 7kW home charger, and one year’s road tax coverage.
The Riddara has gained recognition as one of the best-selling EV pickups in China, a country where Geely ranks among the top 10 automobile manufacturers. This background adds to the vehicle’s appeal for buyers looking for a reliable EV alternative in Nepal.
