BYD is gearing up to launch the Sealion 7, its latest all-electric SUV, in the Nepali market on July 4.
The Sealion 7 will be offered in a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) configuration, powered by a single motor paired with an 82.56 kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed WLTP range of 482 km.
The Sealion 7 showcases a sleek and modern aesthetic, characterized by smooth contours and an aerodynamic silhouette. It follows BYD’s Ocean-X design language, also seen on the Seal electric sedan. Distinctive X-shaped elements are integrated into the front bumper, headlights, and taillights, echoing the visual identity of its sedan sibling.
Inside, the Sealion 7 is loaded with premium features. It comes loaded with ventilated front seats, connected car technology, an electronically adjustable driver’s seat with memory, a floating digital instrument cluster, a panoramic glass roof with sunshade, a 50W wireless phone charger, heads-up display (HUD), powered tailgate, and vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability.
Safety is a strong focus for the Sealion 7. The electric SUV comes equipped with 11 airbags, a 360-degree camera, and an advanced suite of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), including blind spot detection, forward collision warning, intelligent cruise control, and automatic emergency braking, among others.
