BYD India has reached a significant milestone with the delivery of its 10,000th electric vehicle, highlighting the growing acceptance of the Chinese New Energy Vehicle brand in the country.

Operating through a network of 44 dealerships across major cities, BYD India offers four EV models: the Sealion 7, Atto 3, eMax 7, and Seal. Since entering the Indian market in March 2007, the company has invested over $200 million in manufacturing facilities covering more than 140,000 square meters, supporting both production and customer service.

To ensure a seamless ownership experience, BYD India has partnered with Relux Electric to provide charging solutions and offers comprehensive after-sales support, including roadside assistance and extended warranty programs.

Globally, BYD has delivered over 13 million electric vehicles, helping prevent approximately 106.52 billion kilograms of carbon emissions — equivalent to the CO₂ absorbed by nearly 1.77 billion trees. The brand has also been ranked among the Top 10 Most Valuable Global Automotive Brands by Kantar BrandZ for three consecutive years, with a 2025 valuation of USD 14.4 billion, up 43.6% year-on-year.

In addition to its achievements in India, BYD recently inaugurated the world’s first all-terrain driving circuit in Zhengzhou, China. The facility features asphalt and wet skating tracks, cross-country slopes, sandy terrain, and unique snow and ice driving scenarios, demonstrating the brand’s commitment to innovation and EV performance testing.

With the 10,000th delivery in India, BYD continues to cement its position as a key player in the country’s growing electric vehicle market.
