The mountain town of Chame in Manang was the scenic backdrop for the 7th edition of the Nepal Riders Meet (NRM), a signature gathering for Royal Enfield enthusiasts from across Nepal and beyond.
Held from April 15 to 18, the four-day event welcomed 475 attendees—riders, pillions, and their families—under the theme ‘Thrill Unlimited.’ Organized by Friends of Royal Enfield (FORE Nepal) and hosted by the Motor Horse Motorcycle Club, the meet blended biking passion with community spirit, adventure, and eco-conscious values.
Continuing with its popular BYOT (Bring Your Own Tent) format, the event promoted minimalist travel and a closer connection with nature. This year’s meet saw participation from 65 motorcycle clubs, independent riders, and family groups hailing from Nepal, India, Bhutan, England, Switzerland, France, New Zealand, Australia, and China, highlighting the event’s growing international appeal. Among the 475 attendees were 445 men, 30 women, and 15 children.
A mix of skill-based contests and team events kept the adrenaline flowing. Riders competed in Motorcycle Skills & Time Trials across 350cc, 411cc, and 500cc categories, while an archery competition fused tradition with sport. The Barasinghe Beer Chug brought a fun, lighthearted edge.
Group events like the Carry Your Soul Challenge and the classic Tug of War emphasized camaraderie and friendly competition among clubs.
Evenings came alive with live performances by Kathmandu-based bands such as April Rush Collective, Blessed Brothers, and crowd-favorite Harip Tatwo. Rising star Tenzin Dolma and DJs Black and Level kept the energy high into the night, creating a festival-like vibe under the Himalayan sky.
Local culture took center stage at the community-run food court, which introduced participants to authentic Manangi flavors—serving yak meat and sausages, buckwheat roti, nettle curry, dhindo, local potatoes, homemade pickles, thukpa, shyabhale, and the signature Manange momo.
Several brands supported the event, adding value for riders through services, displays, and exclusive offers. Brands included Royal Enfield, Kavach, Motul, Barasinghe, Nepal Mediciti, and Throttle Therapy.
At the Motorcycle Club Presidents’ Meet, it was unanimously agreed that the next edition of NRM will be hosted in the Kathmandu Valley in 2026, with The Himalayan Motorcycle Experience (THME) appointed as the organizing club. Clubs that have attended all seven editions received special recognition for their continued commitment.
The 7th Nepal Riders Meet wasn’t just a gathering of motorcycles—it was a celebration of freedom, adventure, solidarity, and a tribute to the communities that make these journeys unforgettable.
