Ather 450S Launched in Nepal at Rs 3.50 Lakh

Ather Energy and Vaidya Energy have announced the launch of the Ather 450S electric scooter in Nepal. Priced at Rs 3.50 Lakh, the Ather 450S is a budget-friendly variant of the 450X.

With a 2.9 kWh battery, the 450S offers an IDC range of 115 km. It has a top speed of 90 km/h and can be accelerated from 0-40 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. The 450S offers four riding modes: smart eco, eco, ride, and sport, and is available in four colors: cosmic black, still white, salt green, and space grey.

The vehicle comes with a host of features, including Ather's DeepViewTM Display, FallSafe, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), and coasting regen. Additionally, the 450S is equipped with essential features such as a side stand sensor, Ride Assist, and Auto Hold.

Ather also provides a Battery Protect that extends the battery warranty to 5 years/60,000 kms. This warranty program not only covers battery failures but also guarantees a minimum of 70% state-of-health for the battery at the end of 5 years. With this, owners will not need to worry about the scooter's range dropping after a few years of usage and will be able to extract maximum performance, ride after ride.

Ather has been installing fast charging stations at Ather Grid across Nepal. The company has already set up 11 public chargers spread across the country. Riders can use the Ather Grid fast chargers to charge the 450S at a speed of up to 1.5 km/min.
